Qualifying highlights:

So not to put on the tin foil hat....but any chance Power did that to make sure Pagenaud made it

ANY chance? Sure. No realistic one. Simon had this regardless of how the booth tried to spin the last ten laps.

Agreed on the wild conspiracy possibility. There was no need for Power to do it. Though what he was thinking, I'm not sure.

Dixon made it interesting, but I think Pagenaud was mostly managing the gap to ensure they hit their fuel number.

If Simon was as close on fuel as they were making it out to be, it could be possible...but Simon only had about half a lap to go and it would've had to be a very late call, and one that went entirely undetected by IndyCar, so I don't think it's very likely.

Just as it appeared to be a two-horse race for the title, Simon goes ahead and puts together another dominant weekend. Just like Rossi, when he's on he's at a level almost unreachable by anyone else. For someone who everyone thought couldn't drive a lower downforce car after last year he's adapted very well this season.

Man, I wonder what has happened to Andretti outside of Rossi? Hunter-Reay has had some bad luck, but has not had the speed he used to have. Marco is well, Marco. Veach is a long-term project, I like him and his potential. Rossi is the only one really putting together top performances on a consistent basis. Herta is the same as Veach in long-term projects.

Maybe, they are stretching themselves with five cars now? I hope others outside of Rossi can compete later on.

Ed Jones has been fantastic this weekend. Its good to see Ed put a good weekend together with ECR.

He dropped back during the race and eventually finished 12th after running in the Top 5 during the opening laps.
I don't think ECR has the speed they used to have anymore. Even at Texas they were far behind.

That's why it's imperative that they keep Rossi. I like Oliver Askew likely coming out of Lights next year, but the cupboard at Andretti overall is pretty bare right now. RHR probably doesn't have too much longer left anyways.

ECR seem to be good at qualifying pace but their race setup and strategy lack. They seem to abuse the tires and drop like a rock soon after the race starts. Same thing happened at Road America.
