Bowman Gray

I have ben there twice this year and it rained out both times. I may never get to experience the excitement at Bowman Gray.
We've been there twice. One was cancelled for "Technical Difficulties" and the other for weather. Both were cancelled the day before so we didn't even make it to the track.

The first one they didn't make the decision until about the time they were getting ready to open the spectator gates and the second one I called before I drove up there.

Everyone should go at least once.

Bowman Gray is one of those places that should be on every short track racing fan's bucket list, along with Martinsville and the Derby.

So, I went to the Madhouse.

It's not as bad as people say. There was some action, and some shenanigans, but the racing was actually really good - especially in the Sportsman division.

Burt Myers won the championship.

Went there once and it was as billed. Fight on the front stretch and one in the pits well after the races were done. It is a different experience for sure.
