NFL 2019-2020

The NFL is a weird league. A team can look great one week or the whole season, but they can also lose to one of the worst teams. It makes no sense.

Couldn't help but thinking about @TOYoda today and wondering if he was at the game today.

The Titans were on the verge of taking the lead on the 1 yard line when a mishandled catch set up a Texan touchdown. It was basically a 14 point swing or play, definitely the pivotal play the game.
Wasn’t there today, had to go out of town. The Titans definitely did a few things to give the game away today. I’ll be there next week when we play the Saints, gonna have to win that one to keep the playoff hopes alive.

Hate to see that man.

Not a classy look by the Raiders fans at all. Some take these losses too hard at times, its a game. I'm a fan of Tampa, but damn I have not had a meltdown like that before.

Is it me or is Josh Allen's footwork kind of sloppy?

A lot of his passes are sailing it seems. Fantastic arm strength, but he I hope he continues to improve on his footwork and accuracy with the ball.

Chargers continue to take L’s on and off the field. Laughing stock of the league for that dinky little band box stadium and zero fan support.

That's a hard way to lose a game, especially when that's the last game a lot of these fans will enjoy in person.

Not how I would react, but damn, I'm happy the Jags finally won, but I'm gutted for Raiders fans too. That was a spectacular implosion.
I don't have any sympathy for any of the fans that act like that. It's a ****** ball game and nothing more. **** like that is exactly why I was happy when the Raiders decided they were going to move to the desert. As serious as that could have been they should throw the book at the ones they caught acting so careless and stupid.

Big sack.

Then an interception. LOL.

Both teams tried their damn hardest to lose the game. Steelers tried harder to lose.
I have the Bills D/ST in fantasy. I went to bed after the 3rd quarter last night, at that time they’d gotten me 8 points. I woke up this morning and checked my score and saw they ended up getting me 22 points. Must have been a rough 4th quarter for the duck.

The following playoffs-bound teams have better records on the road than at home:

Seattle
San Francisco
New Orleans
Kansas City
Buffalo

The Ravens have been just as good on the road as at home. Most other good teams are within a game in terms of home vs. away record. Only notable exception is Minnesota (6-0 at home, 4-4 away).

Overall in 2019, home teams have won just 52.5% of games (historically it is usually 55-60%). Against the spread, home favorites are an incredibly bad 56-80-5 this year, and away teams are winning against the spread 57% of the time overall.

Is home field advantage dead? Will it matter more in the playoffs?

I hope the Jags keep Nick Foles. IMO, they're going to need a veteran QB around, since they're pretty much going to be rebuilding this entire franchise from scratch in the offseason.

What a disaster.
