Cup RACE thread --- Phoenix

Byron said he underestimated the grip level in qualifying but said that he does have a fast car. I guess I didnt know that he meant fast as in 15th place fast. He hasn't shown any signs of moving up.
 
Joey is drinking CocaCola and everyone else is drinking Pepsi.
 
This package they are running actually puts the racing back into the drivers hands from what I’ve seen so far. Cool to see the wheel guys wheeling it and not hearing words like “momentum”. I think low downforce high horsepower is the way to go

Bowman didn’t do anything in a lower tier ride.

Matty D wasn’t doing much with his older ride before the 95, and wasn’t until late last year with the 95 when I got more help and now he’s running good with the 21.

You can only do as good as the car you’re in.

There is zero “low downforce” in NASCAR. It doesn’t exist. It’s all high downforce.

What a turd. Take that 3 off him and give him 31. It’s beyond time, he’s not worthy running that number in Cup. Maybe his teammate is though

I really wish Hendrick/JRM could have hung on to Reddick. He would be a great replacement for JJ in the 48 next year
 
You gotta adjust the car so it doesn’t eat the right front.
Many other drivers didn’t eat the wall that lap...
 
I wonder if Richard realizes his best shot at a return to glory doesn’t lie with his grandson but Reddick??

Bubba has had the most success in that car since Andretti.
