By now we have heard of Kyle Larson's incident on Iracing and I'm assuming that most of us have seen his apology video. If not, here it is : My question now is should we give him another chance?
 
Yes.

There has to be some repercussions but I do not think they should be permanent.
 
He is going to have to take the Kurt Busch road at this point. Be at a small team and work his way back up and show some promise and work on it. So if he’s willing to likely have to drive for some crappy teams, then sure.
 
I think he will make his own chances for the most part to dig himself out of the hole he dug. Yeah ya have to have sponsors. Every one wants to be on the car when it is running up front, but as we saw there is no loyalty with most of them and either they or other ones will return if he wins. That is the way it is in sports..jus bidness.
 
So Smoke has been supportive of Bubba through all this... but also thinks Larson should be given a second chance and would hire him.

Posters on here have been labeled kard-karrying klansmen for less.

You know what's funny? 8% is about the amount of self-proclaimed progressives in the United States.

It's almost like they're a vocal minority or something...
 
Without a doubt Kyle Larson should have a second chance in NASCAR if he wants it. He has showed that he has taken this very seriously and is doing the right things the right way to upright the ship. The big question is does he want to come back?
 
Sure he does. Stewart is already hinting that he's gonna hire him. PR be damned, Haas went and got Kurt after he had his problems so I dont see him shying away from Larson. Its easy when you have your own money and if you get a sponsor, great, if not He can cover it easily.

I'm hoping Tony puts him in a WOO car first to win a championship before bringing him back to NASCAR.

Good point. The Tony wanting to hire Larson rumor could mean he meant hiring Larson to drive one of his sprint/midget cars.

Somebody has to go on the cup team for that to happen. Nobody does for Larson to go to the sprints. So the tell tale would be somebody getting canned at SHR.

I think Bowyer is shown the door after this season, but with Briscoe's performance as of late. Would it be a difficult sell for SHR to sign Larson on? Especially sponsor wise as this level, I feel is Briscoe continues this run. Maybe Larson is signed on a prove it deal and may have to run in Xfinity again for a season?

I'm grasping at straws here, honestly.

eh, you could be right. Larson's record is a little better than Clint's and he was driving a lessor car. Another bonus for Stewart is that he would be getting a hell of a sprint car driver, so there are incentives from the owner/money side. If Larson has completed his reprograming, he's all good to go for a cup ride and somebody will find a place for that driver.
 
I think from a fan standpoint it would be a popular move for SHR. I do wish it was a driver most of us hated though that gets the boot

I'd like to see Larson in the 14.
 
I appreciate the humor of it, but seriously, nascar is gonna have some explaining to do if/when he comes back with all the recent "no tolerance for this kinda stuff" message. It'll basically reverse all that's been done in the last couple weeks. I think he should come back
