Anyone done these before? Specifically at Bristol?

One of my best Friends and I have enrolled in a class at the Seat Time Racing School and I really want to get the most out of my 40 laps. Anyone done it before and have any pointers, especially at Bristol?

Thank you!

Never done the driving sessions, but did a couple ride alongs, unreal feeling and experience even at 65-75% the actual race speeds at the tracks I was on...

Wanted my wife to come do a ride along but she has a commitment the weekend that was the only weekend my buddy and I could do it together.

If they have a 3 lap ride along option first, take it, that will show you your best lines and throttle control for when you are behind the wheel.

I have done the Petty 30 lap school at Charlotte Motor Speedway, averaged 161 and change on the last 3 laps. It was a blast.
I have done the Rusty Wallace Super late Models on 3/8 mile short track, did 40 laps, and it was a blast.
My next drive will be a non wing 360 or 410 sprint.

You are going to have a blast, post some pictures when you get done with the school.

What class car will you be driving at Bristol?

I've got 4 laps coming at Dover in October with the Rusty Wallace Experience

Jealous! I did the Dale Jarrett Racing Experience at Charlotte (28 laps that they broke down into 2 14 lap runs). I only got to 150. Did your "instructor" ride in car with you or did you have to follow "pace car"?

Granted, this was like 8 or so years ago and the Petty Experience bought or merged with the DJ one I think, and before Petty offered the upgraded (faster) experience.

Class? The cars look like retired Cup cars from the early 2000's......Taurus, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, and a truck. The decals look like Mark martin Pfizer car, Tony Steward Home Depot, Earnhardt Jr Bud car, Alltel Dodge, and a Clint Boyer Jack Daniels Monte. I'm told you drive the car based on what fits you. Praying I don't get the truck.

I hope they do the ride alongs first so I can watch it. You are probably right, riding with them would be most beneficial. Maybe I will check into doing both.

Mine was broken up in 3 segments, you went faster each segment depending on your ability to stay within 3 car lengths of the car in front of you. The last segment was 8 laps and the Petty driver I was following told me we would get r done these last 8 laps and we did. I had done a previous Petty 18 lap, deal at Disney before this 30 lap deal at Charlotte. The Disney track 18 lap deal "SUCKED".

Class = Super Late Model, Late Model, Bush Car, Cup Car etc.

Go online and buy some more laps, they have a per lap add on price for additional laps. Four laps is just a taste or are you doing just the ride along, which is fun in and of itself?
It was a gift last Christmas lol I don't have the funds to do more, I'm trying to save money to buy an enduro car anyway.
