All's fair in love and war . . . . . . . and the NASCAR Pick 'Em game.

I am hoping to finish in the top 10 but 9th is my best realistic hope. I am 38 points behind p8.
This week is my weakest remaining pick, hoping for a top 20.

The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series is at Martinsville Speedway for the running of the Xfinity 500.

The most popular picks, each selected by four players, are Brad Keselowski and Corey LaJoie.

Chase Elliott was selected by three players.
Good luck to all and thanks for participating.

fun ,looks like i could fall all the back to 27th,great.have fun guys

Not totaling discounting whatever chance @Charlie Spencer has of winning the game's championship, but it certainly appears to be down to @dirtfan and @JJ_14.

So in @JJ_14's attempt to make up 34 points on @dirtfan, Hamlin needs to out perform Elliott at Martinsville and, most likely, Harvick will need to out perform Hamlin at Phoenix.

Let's go racing boys . . . .

And then there were two . . . .

With just one race left in the season, it's come down to @dirtfan and @Charlie Spencer as the two remaining contenders for the championship of the NASCAR Pick 'Em 2020 game.

Although @Charlie Spencer is 38 points behind @dirtfan, it appears to still be mathematically possible for him to finish on top of the standings even if his chances lie somewhere between slim and none,

Congrats to @dirtfan for taking the "Highest Finishing Pick" award by picking the race winner, Chase Elliott, at Martinsville Speedway in the Xfinity 500. That's two races in a row, and third time this year, that he's picked the race winner.

Congrats also to @DC76 and @Ashstrodamus as each moved up three spots in the standings.

Meanwhile, there's still competition for a podium position as well as a good battle for a top ten spot in the standings.

Yeah, I've written off winning. With who I have left, I'm pretty sure @JJ_14 is going by me too. I'll be delighted with a podium finish for my rookie season.

But it ain't over until it's over.

If @Charlie Spencer's pick wins at Phoenix and @dirtfan's pick finishes last, there will be a tie for the points lead and the championship will be decided by the tie-breaker scenario.

So there's that . . . . .

You sound like the gerbils, trying to keep the audience interested during the last 20 laps of a stinker.

I need to gain 15 points with Harvick this week for Top 20 paycheck.
