Not sure I completely agree. You got to be there to DOIT. Then is "blocking" or brake checking, OK?
I get it what your saying and just watched a 4 cylinder race where the car that did the bumping was sent to the rear of the field and the car that spun was put back in his position. One concern I have is it is a judgment call and consistency is not ever possible.
yep, when you get a "race control" involved and don't let the drivers decide it for themselves you open up a whole new can of worms.

Good points but the culture has started expecting the 2nd place car to do this kind of stuff on demand.
It is insanity and makes leading going into turn 3 on the last lap a sitting duck joke. Brake checking happens but I doubt that it originated on the last lap, it more likely that P2 just decides to use 8 tires in those cases (and overdriving a corner that requires using the leader as a buffer).

To me you do not have the right to hit the leader without established position first.

All of the above is just my subjective opinion.
This^^ Nasse got position by running into the back of Pollard, he never got his nose inside

Pollard is gonna have a hard time handling it when its the last corner of the last lap. Clearly Nasses gameplan

My problem with "race control" is simple. For example Sr is in second place going into the last turn or Jarrett is in second place the last turn. We have a pretty good idea what was going to happen with both drivers. Race control turns that into a politically correct event. Sr couldn't do what he did, and just think about how history would have been changed..There wouldn't have been an intimidator and probably a black colored number 3 car.

Not a lot of Social distancing at the derby. Place is packed.

Dale Earnhardt was not a driver to emulate. That he got away with his BS wasn't a credit to him, and certainly provides no justification for anyone else.
Doesn't matter what you or I think. He had multi thousands of fans who didn't have a problem with his driving style.

Did Bubba Pollard just quit?

Wow, he did.

EXACTLY the reason I didn't go. Not a mask in sight either. They even posted a photo somewhere of them having a sign saying masks required and the person taking tickets not wearing a mask.

Busch is the only one that came across the stage with a mask on

I'm not scared of getting COVID but I'm not going to just go get it either. That's too risky. Especially after Florence when I got mocked and ridiculed for wearing a mask.
They did? Hell I was guilty myself of not wearing one but I wouldnt mock you for it. For the most part I was isolated in the spotters stand except during the race since most spotters did practices from the top of their haulers

Every race I go to, except at Carteret where I'm announcing and am often on camera, I get crap for wearing a mask. People in this sport really think they're wolves among sheep for not wearing a mask. It's just ignorance.

Was that car Bubba was driving One of the David Rogers cars? I noticed the sponsor on the hood that David had, so was wondering.

Majeski is really damn good and I hope he gets the best chance on the NASCAR side if that's what he wants. Very impressive that Elliott brought it home 3rd.

I have no doubt somebody will pick Ty up.

Majeski has already ran in Xfinity and the Trucks. He drove a Niece truck last year 15 times with 3 top 10's

I know. I'm talking about it being a bumpy ride for him thus far, and hoping that he lands a full time quality ride somewhere. He is looking for a reset in 2021.

Does Majeski just not bring enough financial backing to keep a solid truck or Xfinity ride? I mean, he got dumped for Trevor Bayne this year, how did that happen?

He's not big money, and honestly, he didn't run that well in Xfinity. I don't get it, he's easily the best asphalt Late Model driver in the nation right now. But it's a funny game. There are drivers who were just plain bad in Late Models who are superheroes in NASCAR, and vice versa.
