Cup RACE thread --- on dirt, Bristol

They should have banned participation in lower series for experience like they did with Daytona Road Course last year. Guys who ran truck race are looking really good here. Experience was worth it.

I want to ask Jeff when the Larson groove comes in

track already slicker higher up than it was in the truck race

I like watching Bell work on this track, what a treat.

Larson up to 12th in under 50 laps... man...

I'd also love to know what HMS sprayed on the grilles to prevent buildup.

The Big One on Dirt. Wow Almirola is torn up bad

Well......the radiator can't overheat if ya aint runnin it......

That was very very lucky for Martin, good for him he got through that melee. He might need some dude wipes to clean up after that close call

Boys this race is awesome. As I suspected, the talent and lighter weight of the cars is making for awesome racing

Okay, after 40 laps, I don't dislike it. It's certainly watchable and not the mess some predicted. It's better than a plate race or Indy.

But I don't yet see any reason to bother again. I definitely don't see a reason to sacrifice 250 short-track laps. Maybe I haven't seen enough yet to pick the nuances.

Red Flag #1 of ?????

Honestly given they're not counting stage caution laps this race could legit be 3.5 hours....for a 250 lap race on a half mile track...
