Cup RACE thread --- Richmond

I watched the ticker update the entire time and not a word from the broadcast.

Still no update.

I have no idea what they are looking at.
It's been with pretty much everyone tonight. Very little mention of the 19, then all of a sudden hes battling for the lead

Cliff Daniels just said they're going to go back on their adjustments to what it was earlier in the race. Yikes.

meh, Kyle will find a way to blame TRD simulation and his crew for the penalty.

I'm watching four other races, soon to be five. Including some of them sprint car races in which they definitely have less grip than the Cup cars do here. When the Cup race is more eventful, I pay more attention. If it's too boring for you, I recommend multitasking. It'll fly by.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if NASCAR made the call whether or not he actually sped.

You don’t get to act they way he did last week and then get to compete for a win the next week.

I decided to keep it respectful despite your insult, but your desire for flat footed hammer down racing everywhere is not what I or people who fill the stands and pits at sprint car races are looking for.
I didn’t say that, what I said was too little grip. I’ve seen it often where the track gets too slick and hurts the racing.

Here it looks like the fall off is even more severe than what we see at Darlington. They are absolutely crawling out here

This track is anything but slick. Theres 2 lanes to race in. What world are you living in?

I sometimes do that when NASCAR/IndyCar or F1/MotoGP race during the same time and I don't really like it at all. I always want to understand every aspect and every detail of the race which isn't possible while watching two races at the same time.

Well that's not true.

I’d love a caution, but given this season so far I’m ecstatic if Chase somehow manages a top 5 here. Even at the expense of a JGR win.

Be pretty cool if Larson can get back into top 5 with Chase.

Those two cars in the top 5 should be a borderline success. Both cars showed winning speed really though out the race but just executed absolutely horribly.

Top 5s would be nice.

Can they quit calling this place a short track? The only yellow have been for a downed tire and a driver locking the tires up. There has been zero action.

Sigh.. Steve, the only reason Dennis led all those laps is he got penalized at the start of the race. If that doesn’t happen, Dennis and Chase never sniff the lead.
