See any good movies lately?

Watched Black Widow last night.

Extremely disappointed. It actually started out strong, the plot was different, the stakes seemed lower, and it felt like it was going to be more of a spy thriller. But as the movie dragged on, it ended up being just another MCU movie with the fate of the world being in the balance of some big ass hour long CGI battle.

There's a movie on Netflix called "Wheelman" that I watched last week. Only an hour and 20 minutes or so, but it's the type of movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. No dull moments whatsoever. It's definitely worth the watch IMO.

I came here to see if you reviewed it. Dang, guess I will wait for a stream.

The only 2 movies coming out that I would / will pay to see at a theater are:
1. Top Gun 2
2. Latest Bond

The rest I see out there are too weird for my taste in movie entertainment.

Moulin Rouge.

Saw this in theaters when I was a kid and thought it was silly because of how over the top it is.

Watched it last night and this movie is an absolute masterpiece. It's a visual and musical spectacle that invades the senses and is matched only by the emotional gravity of the plot.

"Bitter Harvest"
It tells the story about the purge in Soviet Ukraine in 1932, through the eyes of Yuri a young Ukrainian.

I love history so your my milage may vary. But if you care about history at all you will appreciate this movie.

Respect for all the millions of lives lost during those evil years. I will never forget them.

I just watched a Hallmark Christmas movie, One December Night. It wasn't bad.

I'm a long-time Bruce Campbell fan, so I was obligated to watch lol.

Saw the new Ghostbusters movie, it felt like they were trying to go the Stranger Things route by basing it around kids, but the end was really good.

Anyone seen "Red Notice" ? Please post a review if you have.

Hallmark: My wife got me on their Christmas movies a few years ago.
I like any of the Christmas movies that Jill Wagner is in, plus
there is a new movie on Hallmark this year called "My Christmas
Family Tree". That had a really good twist in it that got me misty.
I know, I give. Here is my man card turned in.

Watched 8-Bit Christmas on HBO Max. It’s basically A Christmas Story with a Nintendo instead of a Red Ryder BB gun.

Joker. Wasted 2 hours trying to understand it...

Great, GREAT movie. One reason is because Arthur is a sympathetic character, all the chaos of the movie could've been prevented if he had been able to keep getting mental health treatments and if people weren't so cruel to other people.

I loved that movie.

Pretty good movie, about three professional thieves.

I've watched the new Ghostbusters. If you love the old ones, you need to see this one.

Just completed my annual viewing of Die Hard.

As I once heard :
"The Christmas Season does not start till Hans falls
off the Nakatomi Plaza."
