NASCAR 2022 - Bold Prediction Thread

I'm not asking to change anything. There are multiple definitions of the word, not just one. For example, Webster's list three definitions, one of them yours.
1: an American Indian of North America or South America
2: a native or inhabitant of North America or South America
3: a native or inhabitant of the U.S. : a U.S. citizen

Based on the first definition, almost all races have been won by 'non-Americans'. Based on the second, Suarez and Villeneuve aren't non-Americans.

Dictionary.com lists the same three but in reverse order. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/american

Cambridge trots out a definition that uses the imprecise phrase 'comes from', with no mention of citizenship. But they're British, so what do they know about English? ;) https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/american
Definitions.net gathers several, many of which use the word 'inhabitant' without tying it to citizenship. https://www.definitions.net/definition/AMERICAN

I'm not trying to convince anyone of any particular definition. I just want clarification on how @Truex_rox is using the term, before someone makes an issue of the word later.
OK. I won't be a party to hijacking this thread PJ puts too much time and effort into it.
My apologies to him.
Also your wrong.
Carry on.

There will be at least two charter teams in Cup that fail to start a points-paying Cup race (or multiple) because they do not have a car available to race with.

For clarification, when I refer to a team, I'm referring to individual teams that revolve around a single car number.

MJ has always excelled at everything he's done, be it Basketball or Business, I'm sure his patience is getting thin.
Thanks for the welcome 👍
Welcome to the forums.

M.J. should know by now that new teams take a while to get up to speed. The fact that they even won a race is pretty crazy. Bubba is probably safe for the next couple years.

You may be correct, with new cars this year everyone starts at the base. I should probably change my prediction

very possible, look at Brad K, winningest driver in the season gone in first round.
Yeah, but we are talking six drivers here. Certainly possible, but a total manufacturer meltdown would be necessary I would think...but if the new car levels everything which it won't....who knows?

All I know, if I’m right I should be a front runner… seeing as everyone ****s on him and says how bad he is. So if Matty D wins 3 Truck races, then well the way people act that’s bold to predict

I have the impression most people here think he's a decent driver. It's as a spokesperson and employee where he falls short.
