I’m always seeing clips of the many various other series around the world, good or bad, so I thought why not.

If anyone was looking for another way a Ferrari could lose a race this guy in GTWC Asia had a huge lead, started slowing down and flashing the headlights, and fell to 3rd right at the line…

This GT Masters finish at the Lausitzring this past weekend was a bit unhinged.

Hard-fought racing in DTM race 2 at Spa earlier today with Nick Cassidy taking his first win in the series.

Very fortunate that no one was seriously injured in that. Major impacts into concrete barriers, and Olsen’s engine that got ripped out of the rear of his Porsche hit Cassidy in the door. Could’ve been very bad if it hit further up.

Unfortunately five cars will miss the Sunday finale because of all the damage.

Needlessly expensive and dangerous. No wonder barely any international entrants go anymore.
Heck, the motorcycle race is 3000x more dangerous. I don't think sports cars are the problem, it's the lack of talent by the local drivers.
The lack of international competitors is mostly to blame on covid restrictions. Travelling to China is still extremely difficult.

Massive ARCA brakes in the TCR race btw.

Some of the biggest crashes there in the past have involved pros. After 2019 the manufacturers were already thinking about moving the GT World Cup to the Motorsport Games. Honestly, neither of those concepts seem necessary anyways.

That crash is as big as I’ve seen in a TCR race. Just senseless.

No safety barriers but steel guard rails. Who knows what they had in the car for driver protection. What does anybody expect?

Macau is a track like no other. It would be sad to see this event go. Aren't the motorsport games in Le Castellet? I doubt there would be a lot of interest in that.

Wrecks are inevitable on such a tight street course. I can understand why teams dont want to lose more money though.

Yeah it’s in Le Castellet, Idk what the point of the Motorsport Games is really, seems like another goofy FIA concept. Not sure adding the GT Cup would add more interest but I guess it was being discussed at some point at least.

Not sure what the solution(s) is but massive wrecks each year just aren’t good for anyone. The locals don’t have great driving standards but we’ve seen enough over the years to know one pro making a mistake can take out the whole field. Each year the whole card seems shortened because they have to clean up wrecks in each race. I guess the pro teams and drivers just won’t come back in droves, it is what it is.
