Well, you never see me pleading to have the final at Homestead which seems to be the popular opinion around here. It's pretty much all about running the wall and Larson is the best at it.Unpopular opinion.
Those that complain about NASCAR "gimmicks" will never admit Homestead is a gimmick track.
What's stopping anyone else from doing the exact same thing?Cars are too durable and it's part of why Larson is absolutely dominant at certain tracks. You can hit the wall 20 times without consequence.

bingo. And who is to say he wouldn't run it different. He did in the Trucks and they are metal. What's stopping anyone else from doing the exact same thing?
You play the cards you are dealt.
You lose time when you hit the wall, that’s what makes Larson so good. Bowman and Briscoe both tagged it pretty good
Yeah, like how there are people who use to hate when Cup drivers dropped down to lower series and won, and now get mad when they don't win. Such a fickle fanbase. It's typical fan base. It used to be he's fast but he would be really good if he didn't wreck so much. Now it is that he wins too much lol.
That depends on if they are a fan of the driver or not. These are Larson dislike/haters in this thread.Yeah, like how there are people who use to hate when Cup drivers dropped down to lower series and won, and now get mad when they don't win. Such a fickle fanbase.
nah. They were definitely people who made a huge deal about it. Especially when the other Kyle did it. They thought it was ridiculous. Thought they changed their tune completely when that Kyle went to Chevy....odd.That depends on if they are a fan of the driver or not. These are Larson dislike/haters in this thread.
Larson is on another level. I’m not taking away from his performance this weekend.15 second lead and lapped up to 6th place in those “real race cars” yesterday
The fact they aren’t Kyle Larson. Which is the general point. What's stopping anyone else from doing the exact same thing?

Lol. Playing dumb or incoherent is a choice. Preacher Joe and the asylum I have never been a fan of. You should know that by now I would think.nah. If you would have noticed when Larson rubbed the wall he had a lot of wheel in it keeping the front end away from the wall. He doesn't hit it flat, he leads with the rear end.Larson is on another level. I’m not taking away from his performance this weekend.
There was at least 2 times he hit the wall today that would’ve killed the old car is all I’m saying.
Nah. I'm just agreeing that fans are fickle.Lol. Playing dumb or incoherent is a choice. Preacher Joe and the asylum I have never been a fan of. You should know that by now I would think.
He destroyed the field at the Chili Bowl doing the same thing. It's unreal. He seems to have an uncanny ability to use the right rear against the wall without the right front touching. All that dirt experience, I think.
Same thing. Nobody could do what Larson was doing. They tried, but they had the same result as Bowman had or worse. He destroyed the field at the Chili Bowl doing the same thing. It's unreal.
Speaking of generation cars.No doubt Larson is able to get away with a lot more on intermediates in this generation of car than he was with the Gen 6 (mostly as it relates to the pre-NA18D era). But if he’s able to extract more out of this car with his preferred style of driving, then the other guys need to be brave and skilled enough to figure it out too. Bowman tried and fenced himself almost immediately.

The man in your avatar turned heel over fickle fans. Every sport’s got ‘em.Nah. I'm just agreeing that fans are fickle.
Chase isn’t having a great season at all but he’s 6th in points. Everybody’s been feast or famine so far this year, and he just finishes 10-15th every week and comes home clean.Bowman is one classy guy. I’m pretty stoked to see HMS 1-2-3 and 6th in the points. Byron, than the baddest dude on earth Larson and 3 points back is Bowman, and in 6th is Elliott.
I never hear him getting booed at NASCAR races. The Busch Kyle was a grade A *ss hole when he drove for the asylum and he won a bunch of races also. That's two reasons to bring the boos. Larson keeps winning even though he isn't an A hole he will get boos. He gets some when he dirt races.
Of course, I didn't say other wise. The man in your avatar turned heel over fickle fans. Every sport’s got ‘em.

Doesn't matter much to me. If Bowman keeps running as strong as he has this year the wins will come. They have changed something on the 48 team it looks like to me.You can tell that Rick and Jeff really like and respect Alex. I think I read a post on here earlier that said Alex choked but I don’t see it that way at all. He didn’t have a car as fast as Larsons and he was just trying everything he could to keep up with him but there was no way he would have been able to unless Larson had a problem. It was good clean racing. Obviously no one else could keep up with Larson or Bowman.![]()
I don't know about that....why do you think that? I mean the fact that I am just getting here this AM to see only 3 pages of chat kind of tells the tale to me that it was an OK race at best. I thought it was getting really good at the beginning of the final stage - lots of comers and goers and the cars were not strung out and racing pretty hard but got really strung out at the end. Good win for Larson but he did not have as good a car as I thought he would and this win was more about this being one of his bread and butter tracks and getting the long run he needed at the end. I know others will disagree but I get tired of seeing cars hitting the wall all day and still being fast. Used to be more of a rick to run up there. I remember Dale JR was good at it but it usually cost him.Unpopular opinion.
