MLB 2025

Hopefully I can find a decent a stream today going on 6 years since I loss the Braves channel (July will be 6 years) just ridiculous a deal hasn't ever been worked out.

Look awful at the plate to an inferior team, somehow score 4 runs in the 10th to make it look not close after blowing a lead late. Phillies baseball is back

I don't like it, but until they ban it I'm glad Phillies players have been trying to get them.

What are your thoughts on the Torpedo Bat being used by the Yankees. I don't like it and think it should be outlawed.

IMO, it would already be outlawed if the Yankees weren't the ones who unveiled this "innovation."

Knowing that the next 10 years will be Dodgers and Yankees dynasties has made me so uninterested in baseball.

Opening week of baseball schedules drive me nuts.

Phillies played Thursday, off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, off Tuesday. The Tuesday off makes no sense since we started the series on Monday.

You probably already know this but if you don't...

They add the off day in after the scheduled home opener in case of a weather cancellation and they can still do all of the opening day celebrations the day after.

Also fun/random fact... The ONLY weather cancelled home game last season was the home opener. lol

It rocks. So long as it meets all the dimensions within the regulations, who cares. The rest of the majors are already trying to recreate their own anyways.
I care. I am not in favor of seeing players hitting 100 home runs in a season. Baseball needs to get back to its roots. I am old enough to remember when Baseball was truly America's pastime I lived in a small town of about 1000 - 1200 population and we had 2 sandlot teams. , Everyone played baseball. Today's game is not progress.

I think it’s just another consequence of data-driven baseball. The pitching revolution has been all about maximizing velo and spin rate. This is just analyzing contact points and moving mass closer to where a player usually makes contact with the ball.

Fwiw, 8 runs across the last two games for the Yankees.

I mean baseball also had a "dead ball era" the equipment has always had an impact on play.
