How do you get those to stay on reddit I posted my average starts before a Cup wins stats and it disappeared instantly.
Ah that makes sense, plus I had a link to the Google doc so I'm sure that raised red flags. I've been posting it all in my thread here. I have been mostly focused on starts before first wins lately but I've done other stuff in the past.I don't know what the "magic" words are, but my first stats post was taken down as well because they thought it was some kinda different point system. So yours may have been taken down in error as well.
I'd be interested in seeing those numbers, by the way.

I like your approach with stats relevant to current stuff. As a social studies teacher and owner of a history degree I tend to dig more into more historical based things than I don't have to update constantly. But it is a slower process to digging into 1950s ARCA stats will drive a man insane.

Random Racing Stats
So I put together random and frankly unnecessary racing stats mostly to fill my own need to know useless facts. If any of you remember my old Crash Stats that I have gotten years behind on at this point think along those lines (and I will get back to those but the masters degree comes first)...racing-forums.com
One of the things when looking at older stuff is its so hard to really compare across eras of the sport. Possibly more than any other sport in my opinion. Sometimes I have approximated as best I can because some series just didn't keep good records, or they were lost.Ya know, my first one had an imgur link because I didn't know I could just post charts directly, so I think that might very well be a factor.
Well, I didn't really know where to start, so I kinda just see some comment on a driver and wonder how true it is, then start looking at how to quantify it. My analysis topics are very whim-based, though limited by what information is available. This post today was based on a question someone asked in my last post, and I technically already had the data to answer it.
I'll definitely go through your stuff. I am heavily lacking in context for some of my perceptions being a newer fan, and that should help.
