Silly Season 2025

I think its time to send some guys over at Spire in for drug testing. Sign corey to a 2 year contract, upset with performance, make no personnel changes and fire him 6 months in, go after and hire Rodney, not happy with how Corey's replacement is running, fire a guy with a big contract instead of find another role for him, rehire Corey to drive a truck!

Corey had options to go down to trucks/xfinity but felt he was above it.

Justin Haley has been a pile of hot garbage in that 7 car, even with Rodney. They goofed up.

I don't think Corey's felt above it. He wanted a good cup ride or to try his hand on the broadcast side. Do I think he preferred the booth over a full time truck ride, yeah probably. But at the end of the day the money is probably the same and he takes a lot less physical risk. Also it sounds like if he didn't go full time cup Spire was paying him a lot not to race.

A serious ringer, heavily backed.
MobileX, the most customizable wireless service designed to save consumers money, and Walmart are teaming up to bring Australian Supercars Champion Will Brown to the Chicago Street Race, one of the most anticipated NASCAR events of the year. Brown will join Kaulig Racing for his second NASCAR Cup Series in the Grant Park 165 on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

It's not what you know, it's who you belittle
So, Tab isn't allowed to speak about his experience in Mexico? Do you think he was making it all up for poops and giggles? Do you believe JGR hired him because of what he said about his experience in Mexico, and not his resume?

Stenhouse was on pace for an unprecedented year, unsustainable imo, but still great. Boyd was PART of that, though I'll say here it was more dumb luck. Bell needed a capable spotter due to unrelated Gibbs bull****. I think it was just something that worked out. But I was commenting on the trend of personnel moving UP via scandal, which is undeniably problematic.

That said, everything about the Mexico "diplomacy" was poorly executed, and I'm sure the trip sucked for a variety of reasons.

Fair enough. I was being a little sarcastic. I will say you are right about the trend of personnel moving up via scandal being problematic. But it only seems that way for the team that fires the person.
