Hocevar....Again

Wow.
50k and sensitivity classes. I bet he won't do that again.

Nascar: Where we don't want drivers to be vanilla, but we also don't want them to speak the truth

Young Mr H was probably ok until he mentioned a certain orifice & then it couldn’t be ignored. He really needs a course on how to be vanilla where he can learn to speak for 2-5 minutes yet not say anything. Vanilla is the way to go.

I think if he wants success, it isn't found biting the hand that feeds ya.

No, he had it right in his apology. Don't talk trash when you have zero experience and don't know what you're talking about. Hopefully it's a lesson learned, because it has applications well outside of a racing interview.

"I dunno, I've never been there. Ask me again Sunday evening."

That’s for sure. I heard a very frustrated mother tell her child to zip it at the grocery store the other day. Someone should tell Hocevar the same thing if he’s going to be dumb.

Hocevar is afflicted with what many Americans have and that is contempt prior to investigation. All his B.S. was said before he had ever been there. On top of that look at his sponsor deal. He has apologized profusely and he should keep after it lol. Dumb sh*t. I like Hocevar, but damn.

Isn't he about where Chastain was a few years ago in terms of raising people's temp? Maybe a talk with Rick Hendricks would settle him down.

There's always a young talent who hasn't figured everything out yet. I recall Kez was a real terror his first couple of years in Cup.

Rick only cares if it's his cars getting hit.

Carson is 22 and likely has had 0 experience dealing with the real world I am guessing. Additionally, he has had smoke blown up his ass that he is the next thing. He has more money that most 22 years I am guessing, and he probably has 0 trouble getting a companion if he should want to go to dinner or hell, fly to to an exotic island. He drives a car that he did not buy with lawn mowing money. He probably lives in a nice place. The media loves him. Thus, he feels that whatever comes out of his mouth is gold dust. Yes, he will learn, but Larsony should not be used as a template. Immense talent forgives a lot of imperfections. Carson will have some forgiven, but if he goes too far, he will be out, and never seen again unless The Felon tires of Cutie Pie, and decides to take on another reclamation project. While The Felon and thus Chevy are resistant to developing drivers, it should be noted that the Toyota Driver Development Program spends a ton of time (and money) on coaching OUR drivers to refrain from being dicks. Is it perfect? Probably not, but it is a hell of a lot better than relying on the good graces of a felon to save your brand's image.

I am sure that The Felon is grooming Young ******* as we speak in case he jettisons Cutie Pie. Wonder if Dickerson will be more protective of his asset than Marks.

Eventually his cars will get hit. Carson has hit everything but the lottery as they say. Maybe The Felon issues a preemptive warning?

My thoughts exactly. Look out NASCAR, we’ve seen this movie before.
It's called Sensitivity Training sponsored by Hendrick Cars.com. The Welcome Party includes an address by The Felon that goes something like this...."Shut up, and if you are talented enough, I will give you a fast car, you will win, and you will have a long and successful career. Thank you and now please join me at the buffet."

But then there was Busch and now Hamlin.

Does UPS deliver your tin foil or does Costco just back up the tractor-trailer and unload with a fork lift? If Legacy can operate without JGR's influence, it's possible a Chevy team can operate without Hendrick's fingers in the pie. I don't know why HMS pays for shop space with all the room it's taking up in your head.

It's just Rev propaganda..and Thursday. If it was a yota driver he would be hailed as a saint saving mankind by now.

The follow-up post wasn't required. He could have issued the first apology and left the incident alone. If someone else is writing them, he's learned to follow experienced advice.
He is so ****** entitled that he doesn't get it. Just STFU Carson. What a freaking idiot.

Possibly, but no less than at Toyota. Chevy has a bigger pool of teams and cars so it would be harder for Rick to ride herd on them all, if he actually cared, which I doubt he does.
The Chevy teams have choices of who they affiliate with and who supplies their motors. Another bogus propaganda claim lol. You have no choice with the yotas but wilt and die. Seen it in spades.
