Truck RACE thread --- Lime Rock

Haven’t caught much of the race yet, but from the sounds of it they’d be wise to use the uphill chicane next year if they return.

Bird watching (kind that fly not strip) would be less boring than a race at this track.
Can't blame the track for one guy simply being better than the others.

The trucks should run more races on small old-school tracks like this one. This is the biggest event of the year for Lime Rock, hope they keep it.

Needs at least one more braking / passing area.
I think at a minimum every other series in recent memory there utilizes the uphill chicane. The West Bend chicane is also an option. They have other layouts to play around with.

IMSA kinda outgrew this joint but hopefully they can turn it into a racey venue for the Trucks eventually.

Worked OT today. It was nice to come home to the recorded Truck race. That’s a real nice track for the Truck Series. Not sure the Cup cars would be good there.
Heim put on a clinic. I was impressed with Kaden Honeycutt.

Scenically, Lime Rock is beautiful. As a race track, using a mixed metaphor, it is as beautiful as the scenery. I saw a lot going on in that race yesterday and thought everybody put on a good show. But first, you had to ignore the leader. Damn! But he's good!
