Reports are that Verstappen is trying to obtain his Nordschleife permit this year.
Yeah, there is no point of him going to another team. Red Bull might be number one again next year.More importantly this should put an end to the rumors of Aston dumping Alonso for Max.
And btw the smartest thing to do for Max is wait to see who actually builds a good car for the new regulations.
Because chess is so exciting nothing compares!Quite a bold thing to say for a chess player.

They can go to North America and knock out Miami and Montreal in one trip before starting the European slate. They usually have two or three races in Europe before going to Canada for one race and back.I guess I'm late to the party, but what is the reason for Monaco moving for the traditional Memorial Day weekend?
I'm looking forward to it myself, it would be like two heavyweights standing toe to toe pounding it out. TV numbers for North America should be telling I would think. Is F1 looking to shop the date around for more money with the problems they had last year? And now they could have one more excuse because of TV ratings?
If you'd asked me just a week ago I would've said no way but this is really gaining traction right now.Seems like there’s more and more smoke concerning Max and Mercedes.
Me too, but there is so, so much talk there has to be something to it. Man, it would just be criminal to dump Russel after the way he's driven that Mercedes sled.I'll believe it when I see it happen.

They already were. There’s been a lot of brain drain from there in the past couple of years. Obviously there was also the whole power struggle between the Thai and Austrian sides of the parent company that @virtualbalboa referenced as well.Red Bull is going to fall apart now.
It’s possible he’s already gone, and that it was the final straw for Horner. So is it now more likely that Max is leaving - or less?![]()
Sadly we will probably never know the entire truth about what happened, but it's probably squarely due to this.Obviously, there was also the whole power struggle between the Thai and Austrian sides of the parent company that @virtualbalboa referenced as well.

At the end of the day, Red Bull was dominant in the WDC for years and then the people who made the team that way left and now they're basically in the Mercedes/Ferrari zone as occasional threat to win but not a serious title contender anymore for WDC or the Constructor's Title. Need I remind everyone that finishing position in the Constructor's Title is what determines your purse share from the media rights deals, and right now Red Bull is in 4th place after finishing 3rd last year following two straight titles. That's tens or even hundreds of millions in lost income compared to what the expectations might have been with the people who left due to Horner's behavior.
