A little disappointed this one conflicts directly with the Cup race at the Glen.

Fully expecting Palou to mathematically clinch the title this week. Much more curious to see if he can win #9 and come within one victory of tying the single-season record.

Lundgaard takes pole but will start P7 with a six-place grid drop for an unapproved engine change earlier today. Pato will lead the field to green.

Power and Malukas will roll off P3 and P4. Power still looks like Penske’s biggest threat on a weekly basis. Not convinced it’s time to swap him for Lil Dave just yet.

Santucci gasses it up too much on the exit of the final corner and clobbers the inside pit straight wall. You don’t see that mistake very often here.

Rasmussen and Daly need to be sat down and given a chill pill. That’s absurd. Dangerous.

I’ve become a fan of Rasmussen this year but that was too much. On multiple occasions.

Power taking his mandated set of primary tires on the penultimate stint. This is where Lundgaard may be able to catch and pass him.

Kind of like a sprint car race where it's "Wait until they get into traffic". But it's always disspiriting when racing conditions are such that the leader can't lap anyone.

I'm not sure how the #12 painted themselves into this corner on tire strategy when they were operating with all of the track position advantage earlier.

Wonder how the tire offset will factor into things at the end of this stint. Wouldn’t be surprised if Power’s start to go with around 5 laps left.

Palou is hungry to win this thing.

Power holds on!
The combination of Will and Penske together with Dixon/Ganassi has shaped this sport for almost two decades. Great to see them in victory lane again but this does have the feeling that this could be the final time. I hope not.

Graham with a great race in 4th, Ilott gets three consecutive Top 10s for Prema.

I didn't agree with the penalty on Scott Dixon. Seeing it right in front of me at the race and then watching on tv was the same. Newgarden comes out right in front of Dixon and then doesn't go fast enough. If they had been racing each other a bit beforehand I would've agreed with the penalty.

Also was disappointed with Fox after the race when they were all excited to interview Palou winning the championship and poor Will Power has to wait around until they decide to talk to him. To me, the race winner comes first THEN we can get on with other things.

Anyway, complaining over. Wasn't a huge crowd at the race which is sad. Heat might've contributed but the reserved grandstand seats were a bit more sparse then usual. Tickets might've been sold but they didn't show up? I can't grasp such a thing but that's me.
