Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

They park cars on the milwaukee mile for the state fair and they had a flash flood take over the track. One of the local news stations posted these photos

Byron had more points last year than 90% do either year, and he still has over 100 more this year than last year.
To add to this, I understand he only has two wins and full season stats no longer matter to some etc. But honestly we are watching one of the all time great seasons right now by a future champion in Byron, even if he doesn’t win the championship this year given the format. He likely would in any other.

We are witnessing history, and a lot of times you don’t even realize it at the time. I made that mistake a lot during JJ’s heyday with just wanting him to go away. I look back on those times a little differently now that he’s gone.

Larson did it Last year. 6 wins, 15 top 5's, 18 top 10's. Nobody was close. Finished 6th to a 4 win, 7 top 5's and 13 top 10's. Ridiculous.
That's also after spotting the field a race at Charlotte. Lost the regular season points by 1 point.
