Xfinity Series 2025

Saw that the Xfinity race at Portland doesn't start until 4:30 west coast time. I guess they're going for prime time eastern on a road course? Hmmmm
 
The ARCA race on Friday starts at 4. I remember in the past the sun was getting low because of the endless wrecks and restarts. After Watkins Glen last weekend I hope the Xfinity drivers got their wrecking out of their system.

They have a formula, something like they race to one lap after official sunset.

Sunset is almost 8, 7:53 PST. That's almost 4 hours for the race it looks like. Probably work if it doesn't rain, it's 75 laps.

This is NASCAR we're talking about right?
 
Besides some interesting wringers there are no Cup drivers entered at Portland. I'd like some wet turning into a dry track if I had my druthers.

I think the last time I heard the quickie caution phrase was in 1978 (B4TV)
