Enough Is Enough Full Season Championship.

Pretty interesting above. CBell wants a full season if he had the choice. What is important is that he knows that this year the track line up favor him in the playoff run. Usually a driver will say they hate road courses for instance and that is because they have never won on an road course. Totally an all about me thing. Bell knows it is looking good for him in the playoffs but if given the choice he would throw it away for a 36 race season.

Or Rev switches to Chevy? Sure will be cold in hell though.
Rev should have been a Pontiac man. That is when the preacher won his championships in short succession. It's been a long hard road with the rice burners, tied with the Hudsons at only 3. Of course he is for the lottery points system.

Where would they go? Vanity Fair? Fly fishing quarterly? Golf digest?
They could scout the NFL games to ask nascar casuals "what kind of Nascar playoffs they would want to see, if the NFL were to ever go away"

If it is anything like it was on a Monday where I used to work, they couldn't even tell you a Nascar's driver's name lol.

By me it's quite rare to find anybody that knows anything about NASCAR.
It's pretty much why I think the surveys by Gluck and Martin hold so much weight. Finding anybody who knows more than "Nascar...is that where they race cars?" takes a bit of doing out on the street.

You are aware that if SOU want to read that kind of **** from King Aaron, we can go to X ourselves and literally find millions of bull**** posts just like this one aren't you? I mean you don't think that X is like your little secret or anything, right? A pro tip....for every bull**** post you share, I could find one for the counter argument....but I have a life and everything.

You are aware that you can take your happy ass out of this thread if you don't want to read it. This isn't going anywhere and you are perfectly free to sh*t post all you desire.

I'm grateful for anyone who saves me from having to wade into the cesspool of Twitter for myself. I refuse to give Elon the clicks. Thanks to everyone taking those rounds for me.

According to this source, the number of viewers for the last two races INCREASED after Alex locked up the title. More evidence racing fans don't care whether there's a title on the line.

Portland - 708K
Milwauke - 779K
Nashville - 1.142K

And last year the title was still undecided going in to Nashville.

So, we have a playoff system because it drives ratings late in the season, eh? Indycar and Xfinity ratings are getting close to cup.

This is back from the beginning after Kenseth won his title.

Fun fact. If you use the points system from 2003, for this season the top 12 would be closer in points at this point of the season, than second place was to Matt at the same point in 2003. After race 27 Matt had a 404 point lead. Using the same system 12th place is 391 behind. Top 5 is a 72 point difference.

No doubt they would be having a hell of a points battle at this time of the season with 5 drivers within range of each other using the old system. Plenty to talk about.

Am I correctly remembering NASCAR saying several weeks ago that no changes would be made for the 2026 season? Something about network partners not being prepared, I think.

One of the rumors are they will start off with something like 3 races for the last round. 4 cars the first race, 3 the next and 3 in the final race. ,
