Enough Is Enough Full Season Championship.

Keselowski had a lot to say about a lot of stuff about the race. "The playoffs were never meant to be fair to begin with". "C'mon guys, pick a side".

Ole @StandOnIt with nothing left to post but this after a Toyota first round sweep. Working hard.

Reporter didn't even follow up with question about what he meant with not fair comment. Pathetic. Their not journalists or reporters, but talking heads.

Lol. Pretty self explanatory and people have been talking about it for years, me included.

People. Most? Some? All? Have you ever heard of anybody with the opposite view? If you haven't, is it because you aren't listening or nobody has that view? You know, the MOU, SOU, NASCAR "insiders"....that whole thing. Who are people? A pissed off Mark Martin who couldn't be found until NASCAR stroked him with the Hall of Fame thing, and now he is going to take his followers into the street for change? Who the hell are people? 45K in Phoenix? Probably not, right? Silly.

Why don't you start an everybody loves the playoffs thread.

The playoff sheit does not need a few tweaks or adjustments it needs to be totally eliminated.
I'm like the tweet above. I was watching a race not an elimination round. I can see why the ratings are down, you get a headache if you listen to the alternate reality they are trying to create. I'm usually watching something else on Youtube that's on the computer and listening to the radio version which is much less into the whole playoff thing.

I would be willing to bet a good portion of those 45k would be there no matter if it was a championship race or not, something tells me when you would be. You know why? They love racing. Don't need a championship race for that.

Fair point.

So accuracy is determined by the number of followers, and someone with a low count can't be right. Got it. How many people are following you?
If you are unsure of what a number of followers might indicate in terms of credibility, I can't help you. I couldn't give three poops about any assessment of my credibility. I express an opinion.....just like Alexander only nobody will use my opinion to justify a narrative....nor should they.....statements of fact should be used to support narratives....X doesn't have much of that. It is not uncommon for some--particularly one poster--to use opinions as statements of fact. As noted, there is an endless supply on X.

Just think if NASCAR went this direction...
Final race, the final stage is set with the 4 remaining playoff drivers starting 4 abreast at 4 laps to go and everyone else eliminated.
This could truly be the final 4.
Epic!

Make it elimination style at that in honor of Tony Stewart.
4 laps. 2 segments
The first two laps feature two head to head matchups with 2 cars clockwise against each other and 2 counterclockwise around the track, all at the same time, for two laps.
The survivors, if any, of those go head to head for 2 more laps to crown the champion.

The tricky part is deciding if which stage gets the ramp and the flaming hoop.

Let’s really spice up Phoenix and have the Championship Four start at the rear of the field.

I’m only kidding. Unless…

Who is telling the truth. I only need to know two things. One, Burton works for NBC, two, Gluck doesn't.

It’s turning into a he said, she said type deal. Burton saying TV has nothing to do with it, when he is an nbc commentator for all these years is rich. They really think their fan base are morons. I’d think the best writers are a bit closer to the truth than someone who still has a pay check actively signed by a tv partner.

It's pretty clear to me. Burton said NBC doesn't make the call. He is right of course NBC doesn't. NASCAR makes that decision. Influenced by NBC...probably, but NBC can't make NASCAR decisions. It's like your neighbor tells you your house needs painting, so you paint it. You made that decision, not your neighbor.
BTW, not talking about "you" specifically here.
