2026 Silly Season

I'm guessing RC was aware of this deal before it was signed. At this point the 8 needs to go in a different direction, either the guy holding the wheel or the guy on the box
Queue RC squealing about how Randall screwed him in 5-4-3-2-1....

Trackhouse gets their engines from RCR. Makes me wonder how well that deal is going to go.
Thinking that RC will pull the Coach thing on The House the way Coach did to Furniture Row? That should be good for several years of rants from you, right?

Which drivers from FRM and 23XI are potentially out if they lose the charter lawsuit?

I'm with Reddick but that shouldn't surprise anyone who's been on RF for more than a few months. 'Disheartening' is a great choice of word to describe a form of racing where the fastest car can't get away from its competitors and drivers have to rely on other drivers.

Kind of dumb though to have Carson only part time tbh. He won't be able to compete for the championship.
It's a star car designed to win the owners championship. Same thing JGR is doing running Almirola during the playoffs this year. Probably have Kvapil doing the same if I had to guess.
I'm wondering if that is all the ride that Kvapil is getting. So next year is only a part time Xfinity ride?

Just seems odd to me still tbh. Carson is 4th in points right now, could very well win the championship this season, and would stand a great chance next year. If they have him in another car whenever Connor is in the 1, that could work but just seems wouldn't be fully smart. But we will see.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

I think its a good fit for Rodney. Spire continues to baffle me. You already have Rodney under salary and the truck teams are struggling. Why not turn him loose on the trucks?

Well if The Felon didn't leech off of the development of others, he could jettison Cutie Pie, and put Heim in the seat....but we don't talk about that. You've dumped Rowdy....Could I interest you in a Heim prize pack?

Wait I must have missed this one, which driver employed by The Felon is Cutie Pie?

I've been trying to figure that one out. I recall asking once and not getting a straight answer. Something like "The one that isn't Chasey."

In hindsight, it's obviously the one Rev's bromance glands are crushing on.

Ally Bank takes the paper for almost all of the vehicle sales and leases generated by Rick Hendrick’s 100+ dealerships. Around $13 Billion last year.

Ally Bank loves Alex. He’s not going anywhere.

It's tough when you figure out that Nascar racing is financed by Fortune 500 companies while football is financed by the taxpayers.

The teams escalated costs and increased their reliance on corporations. The costs in the sport are out of control too.

No easy fix because everyone wants a competitive edge so it is what it is.

I don't see anything sad about it. Racing isn't financed by taxpayers it has to come from somewhere. This goes all the way down the line.
