With the help of his trusty abacus (Google it you must), ol'whatshisname has discovered that if his driver pick in each of the last six races makes a visit to Victory Lane, then his season's average points per race will come to just over his goal of 15.0 points per race.

On top of that, if the picks of all five members of the Top Five club sh*t the bed in each of the last six races, there's a chance that ol'whatshisname will need to prepare a speech for deliverance at the season ending Awards Banquet. :beerbang:

Lots of A list drivers being picked, the best saved for this part of the season.

Hope everything is well with @pjmolo. As for the game, I doubt I can catch the leaders, but if I get lucky with my picks, who knows. I only have two A group drivers left and no B group drivers with 5 races remaining. That said, Talladega is one of those races. Good opportunity to pick a C-list driver there.

Congratulations to @Mr. E, @Conover, and @Spotter, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award thanks to the bat-outta-hell first place finish of their pick, Chase Elliott, in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Having picked the first place finishing driver in each of the last two races, @Mr. E has reclaimed the top of the driver's standings after letting @kkfan91 hold the baton for two races. Additionally, @Mr. E has picked a Top Ten finisher in four of the last five rases.

Membership in the Top Five Club remained unchanged with @kkfan91, @Conover, @antman12, and @JJ_14 holding down positions two through five, although the mid-pack finishes of the picks by @antman12 and @JJ_14 resulted in each of them falling off the leader's pace.

Meanwhile, by picking a Top Five finishing driver in each of the last three races, superchuck500 has made a monstrous move of eleven positions in the standings and now finds himself in the Top 20.

The "Most Upward Movement" award was taken by @superchuck500, @DC76, and @Truex_rox following their upward movement of five positions in the standings, but because of the great finishes by the picks of the standing leaders, they gained little in the battle for fewest total points.

The "Slipping and Sliding" award was handed off to @Hawaii808 and @donthaveanickname when the finish of their picks saw each of them drop five positions in the standings and only further behind in the "Points Behind Leader" column.
