Such a terrible format. Nothing warrants Logano advancing. Watch, Logano is going to win the title again this year after having such a mediocre year. History shows if he gets to Phoenix, he doesn't lose. If I was Hamlin, I would've backed off and blocked for Chastain and eliminate Logano. Much rather face Chastain than Logano at Phoenix.

If we have to have a chase format then it should be the original 10-man chase from 2004. No win and you're in, no elimination nonsense. Also bring back point bonuses for leading laps.

The possibility of a full season championship returning vs a playoffs format may very likely come from the polling/reception/feedback from this week's race. NASCAR needs to realize that moments like that CAN be fun but that does not negate the fact that auto racing should still be a full season points format.
Eh, you sit down to watch a race until the end and what do you get. A booth full of screaming gerbils and a couple of cars fighting for 21st place. Like what in the hell are they doing.

Tactically it would’ve been a much smarter move for him in the next rounds of the playoffs to keep Ross and eliminate Joey.

It was obvious to me that Chastain didn't intentionally wreck Denny Hamlin. The end with him driving backwards was hilarious.

That was awesome Chastain never fails to keep it exciting. I loved that he owned his mistakes. It's hard for me to believe that Denny's crew chief didn't have him informed on Chastain's playoff situation but I'm glad Denny understood it. This race really sucked for Chastain.

To clarify I don’t enjoy moments like these for the sake of it, it makes racing look like a clown show, which is what the powers that be hope for.
Until changes are made I hope for more of it and for the backlash to grow louder. At the onset of the playoffs I was rooting for an Austin Dillion Cinderella run to the cup lol.
SVG whips the field by 15 seconds with his 5th road course win in a row and so much for that.
