No matter what happens it is completely mind blowing how @kkfan91 sent every pick in ahead of the season opener, and is poised to win! No doubt he put time and research into everything prior to submission.

If he just had some beers and blurted a name into his phone’s memo app….😳

I also want to thank @pjmolo for running this game. It's very fun and gives me another reason to watch the races.

While not official, congrats to @kkfan91. He had a great season, Custer should be good enough to win him the championship.

I struggled during the first 11 races or so, was in the 20's at that point and I didn't think I had any chance of finishing in the top 5 of the standings.

Thanks again to @pjmolo for being a great commissioner and doing a great job. I can't imagine the amount of time and energy that is required to do it so well, while also making it fun. Thanks again.
Well said, @Greg, many thanks to @pjmolo for another stellar job this year as Commissioner. He is the best commissioner in sports, period, full stop.

I'm shocked to be in a favorable position to achieve my goal of 540 points or less (average finish of 15th). I need a 28th or better at Phoenix to nail that down. My other goal of winning the championship is technically still alive, but barely. The entire year has been an incredible performance by @kkfan91. I didn't think he could beat Brentford's cat, but KKfan showed us all how its done!

A lot of players still have good drivers left to pick from. Meanwhile, it’s no secret Chloe has chose Wrecky Stenhouse for Phoenix. She says if we can sneak into the top 15, she might stop by the banquet for some free food. Best of luck to everyone! Glad we had another good turnout.

@pjmolo thanks for what you do. @JJ_14 and @LewTheShoe best of luck. I don't think its as locked as you think. 38 cars on the Phoenix entry list, and it looks like you both have a driver with a shot at the win, so it could still be a nail biter.

@pjmolo thanks for what you do.

Thanks for the props, fellers.
Much appreciated.

Its been a lot of fun watching this competition
from the peanut gallery again. Good luck to everyone
in the last race! @pjmolo, you are da man !

From the "Hope Springs Eternal" Department... It's good to see that I own the tiebreaker versus @kkfan91. If he adds another Top 5 finish, we won't be tied on points. LOL.

On the other hand, "Hope is not a strategy" is one of my favorite phrases. He is still 31 points ahead of me, so there isn't much chance of a tiebreaker coming into play.

It will be interesting to see who @JJ_14 picks. We both have William Byron available. He's gotta figure he can't pass me that way. Will he pick Willie B anyway, to solidify his finish in the top three? Or will he throw a Hail Mary? Maybe Cody Ware will win the race.

I'd be ecstatic if my pick got a top 5

Went with Byron to try and secure a good finish. I wasn't confident in Cody Ware finishing ahead of Byron. Well, that's exactly what happened. If I had gone with Ware, I would have finished 2nd in the standings.

Congrats @kkfan91 on your championship! I might have caught you if I’d not had so many bum finishes late, but your system was a WINNER!

Thank you Blaney for a final win this season. The K&K Insurance team has achieved our highest season finish ever.

Congrats to @kkfan91, Champion of the NASCAR Pick 'Em 2025 game.

Unbelievable that he was able to win it all after submitting his driver picks for the entire season prior to the Daytona 500.

Final season standings and appropriate awards soon to follow.

Once again, congratulations to @kkfan91, Champion of the NASCAR Pick 'Em 2025 game.

Plans regarding the upcoming awards banquet are in the works with details to follow in a separate thread.

Just a heads up: @Greg is being recruited to act as the banquet's Master of Ceremonies but he has requested that the hawt wimmins that attended last year's banquet be invited and allowed to provide "stimulating entertainment" for those in attendance.

What could go wrong ?

Great finish @Conover to move up to second place overall. This is a tough league and it truly is a worthy performance.

I'll start working on my speech.

Oh. My. God.

The agony of defeat rears its ugly head once again. I am cursed in the NASCAR Pick 'Em game. After years of toil, I was finally positioned to score an average finish of less than 15.00... until my driver William Byron blows a tire with two laps to go... and finishes P33. My season total ballooned to 545, an average of 15.14.

I finally know how that Wide World Of Sports ski guy truly feels...
