Wonder how they'll sell sponsorship this off-season for a guy who says he may or may not race next season depends on how he's feeling after losing the championship. Sheesh.

I think by this time of the year, most if not all of next season is sold. The activation large money sponsorships require takes time.

JGR always seems to sell it to the car/team and not the driver. When Carl walked they kept everyone. When did anyone ever leave JGR and take sponsorship with them at the cup level?

LOL at people claiming Hamlin is "champion" in this thread. Y'all can give him all the participation trophies you want, but he is not a champion. Didn't win one in Xfinity and hasn't/won't win one in Cup. Hamlin was a pr!ck for 44 1/2 years of his life, just because he tried to play the sentimental card and "act" like a nice guy for the past few months doesn't change my opinion of him.
Speaking of these two races, the similarity is uncanny. The 22 was close in proximity to both of them on the final restart. Seen many a picture this week of Rick and Roger trading hats in VL in the past. And now they push back on the deposition order, asks court to limit the scope of their participation, just makes you wonder.
