Greg Biffle was a Ford guy when I was a Ford guy, and therefore, he was one of my guys. It was always fun to watch him drive the wheels off of those Twisted Sister cars back in the day. He was a certified wheelman for sure. More importantly, as others have pointed out, he was an even better human being, as was his wife Cristina, which makes this unspeakable tragedy even tougher to swallow.

Thank you for the entertainment and the memories, Greg. Rest easy, sir, and rest easy, Cristina, Emma, Ryder, Dennis, Jack, and Craig.

Crazy, I was just thinking about that win yesterday. For whatever reason, that's always the first win of his that pops up in my head whenever I think of him.

If I'm not mistaken, that was his first Cup win at Dover. I never particularly cared for that track, but I sure liked it that day. ^_^

I was there, it sticks in my mind because he was the first one I ever saw screw up the burnout and wreck the car lol.

Yeah, I remember that, but that's not the reason why I always think of that win first whenever I think of him. I can't pinpoint the actual reason.

I just remember 2005 being a great season for him - after looking it up, it was actually his best season points-wise (second). He was good before that, but he truly arrived that year. I had somehow completely forgotten that Tony Stewart won the 2005 championship, but I definitely remember Biffle winning at Homestead by inches over Mark Martin. That was an incredible finish.

One of my buddies at the time, a Stewart fan, said something to the effect of "there was almost no reason to even have that race. Who even cares about the finish?" I was dumbfounded.
