Where Larson finished 6 to 3. Larson got wrecked by the 9, came back for 3rd.

Larson is on cruise and doesn't look like he has to drive it very hard. McIntosh has had a strong night but may be fading.
 
I spent most of the evening down on the front stretch with my friends by start finish about two rows up. After the VIROC, I realized I was having a tough time really focusing and thinking about the race in large part because just the act of watching the race was essentially all consuming mentally and generating euphoria. My annual trip to Tulsa is a de facto religious trek I must embark on every year until I am physically no longer capable.
 
Interesting first night. Nascar was represented with both Larson who locked in to Saturday night by winning along with locked in 2nd place Briggs Danner driving one of Alex Bowman's immaculately prepared cars. Danner is a rising star in the sport and we will be hearing more from him in the High Limit series this year.

My crew noticed that Ryan Bernal was basically matching Bell for pace in the VIROC. Thought that was interesting to note. He's usually decent here even if I can't not think about the year he ruined the McDougal soup run.
 
I think I have posted this video before but it is such an awesome story about peasant row and father and sons racing relationship that I had to post it again.
 
Brown in the C.Bell 21AU car easily wins heat 2. Both of Bell's cars are super fast. Brown is a ringer from Australia
