Maybe the season should start in Phoenix or Vegas or some place where rain and snow aren’t the new normal. Or make rain tires and maybe studs the new normal? All speedways should have a quickly configurable road course option they can switch to in the event of rain?

I've been saying this for years, especially with Daytona being so scaled back as it is ... open the season with the Western Swing, then go to Daytona in March.
