Truck RACE thread --- Charlotte

He looked terrified, very odd
Or he looked like the type of guy that is an adrenaline junkie...you know, the kind of guy that does stuff like

Travis Alan Pastrana (born October 8, 1983) is an American professional athlete known for his success across multiple disciplines, including freestyle motocross, rally racing, NASCAR, and stunt performance. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s, becoming a multi-time X Games gold medalist and achieving numerous milestones in freestyle motocross, including being the first to land a double backflip in competition in 2006.[1] Prior to his freestyle career, Pastrana was also a successful motorcycle racer, winning titles in the AMA Motocross and Supercross 125cc divisions in 2000 and 2001, respectively.

Outside of motorcycles, Pastrana is a four-time Rally America champion and has competed in Global RallyCross. Pastrana has also made appearances in NASCAR, including stints in the Nationwide Series and the Truck Series. In 2022, he became a world champion in Class 1 World Powerboat Championship alongside British offshore powerboat racer Steve Curtis.[2]

In 2003, Pastrana co-founded Nitro Circus, an entertainment brand that produces live shows, television series, and films featuring extreme stunts and action sports performances. Separate from Nitro Circus, Pastrana has participated in several high-profile stunts, including successful recreations of stunts made famous by Evel Knievel.

But then again maybe you don't know guys like that...

But then again maybe you don't know guys like that...

I know who Travis is, did you actually see the segment we were talking about? It was odd because his eyes were basically bulging out of his head and he looked frantic. It was odd because I've never seen anyone else act that way, including him when he's been in a truck before.

Big blobs moving northeast either side of Charlotte. They may get started at 8 but it looks like they'll have interruptions. This one may be run to halfway.

Or is the end of the second stage considered a 'complete' race? I can't keep straight which one it is. End of second stage has always seemed like a ripoff to me, since it's often far less than halfway. I don't know of any other sport that considers less than halfway to be complete.

I believe it's whichever comes first, halfway or the end of stage 2

Nope.
Still raining.
Fox must be planning on this being a lengthy delay if they've already gone to a C600 replay. There's a big blob of yellow coming up I-85. Looks like it will hit either before or not long after they get the track dry. NASCAR may have to decide to bump this race yet again or sacrifice O'Reilly P&Q (or both?). The NWS forecast calls for at least 80% through Wednesday.
