24/Daytona

I've gotta go to a track meeting at ODS tomorrow hopefully it'll be done in time for Grandam

Hasn't this been breathtaking?

4 cars on the lead lap with less than 60 minutes left. Montoya with the lead.

Nailbiter inside the final hour at Daytona after a record 26 cautions a record 4 cars on the lead lap right there fidgiting, fiddling for the lead.

Congrats to David Donohue, Buddy Rice, Antonio Garcia and the whole Brumos Racing team. Also a congrats to Andy Lally, Justin Marks (two very accomplished ARCA racers as well), Jorg Bergmeister, Patrick Long, RJ Valentine and the whole TRG team. :yay:

The Rolex 24/Daytona was, by a mile, the better of the two races.

That was god stuff... That Porsche engine just had too much leg on the straight, and Juan just couldn't hold em' off. And Juan said after the race that his car actually had less wing on it than theirs, so that gives you some idea how much better that car was ( power wise ).The Lexus was so quick on the infeild, but it just didn't have in the oval/straight.

Good racing though.

Well, Danica's team didnt do to bad. They started out in the back and were out early in the race, came back in and placed 8th. Not bad.

I liked how Danica said her door came open out on the track. Thats not good.

sure wasn't like some of the 24's of the past..... I remember cars comin in, gettin shined up to look good in the photo's, and "star" drivers runnin the last couple of laps.....lol.... Was a heck of a shootout, glad to Donohue win.......
funniest moment I saw was when they show the spin from last year, and poor ole Hurley Haywood thought it was a live shot......lol. Danica's interview was worth a giggle too.....loved the door comment....lol
