So far a snore, but we need a thread right?
 
Did anyone have the FOX broadcast go black around lap 10 or so? I use Direct TV and have experienced this several times recently yet when I switch channels, they are okay. Anyone else have this?

I haven't but I have Dish. Are you sure it isn't your eyes closing from boredom? LOL jk :D
 
RCR is looking real good so far. All three in the top 10 and Harvick is about to overtake JJ for the lead.
 
Wow..speeding penalties on pit road...in Nascar????? Has anyone ever heard of that before:sarcasm:

That was a bone head call by Nascar. If I was that crew member I would have forgot about that Tire when I saw a car heading towared me. The tire stayed in the pits just rolled over to harvick pit

Once that tire is outside of your marked pit area it's a penalty.

IMHO, Nascar drivers really need to spend their winters driving in Canada. Kahne really should have been able pull out of that grass slide, straighten out and keep going, but he over corrected and spun. Hell, my wife has pulled out of worse skids than that. Lower speed for sure, but she's been far further out of control to begin with and controlled it.

Bristol would like to make you believe it is the bad economy that allows tickets that have never been available. It hasn't been but two years since they had to do lotteries for available tickets :(
Repaving, COT, and rules have ruined Bristol imo.
 
Who were the three caught for speeding on the last stop?I heard Montoya and Harvick but I didn't hear the third.
 
JR. on the radio saying he was 100 rpm less than the limit. Between Saturday and todays speeding tickets it makes me wonder.

You have to wonder...The three that got caught,aren't the stupidist guys out there, and all from different teams.

Seems to me this is 2 years in a row where speeding penalties on pit road were a regular occurence here. Does make ya wonder...
 
are they still using the pace car to take them down pit road, prior to the start, at the speed limit so the teams can determine what gear and rpm they need to run. If so maybe the pace car should get a ticket.

The first 3 pace laps are at pit road speed, then the car speeds up to 10 miles over the pit road limit for cautions.
 
They say its all done by the engineers now who figure it out by computor.I don't know what kind of tach Junior has ...................he can read 100 rpm while doing 55mph down a busy pit road.
