Here kitty, kitty, kitty
The season is over at Bowman Gray Stadium and Burt Myers is the new champ, getting his 4th title. The 150 lapper was very exciting. Tim Brown won the pole and was in the top 5 until the last lap. Second place runner and second in the points Brian Loftin, spun Tim out for the win. Tim finished 10th or so, just behind Burt, who was points racing for the first time that I've seen. There were plenty of cautions and drivers at the front getting spun. Loftin was the only one of the front runners that didn't get spun. Myers qualified mid pack and that's where he raced, keeping a good space between him and the driver in front of him. Junior Miller spun himself out. James Civali had a rough night, giving and getting. The Show Stopper was mid pack and didn't stop the show. Jason Myers was top five for most of the race and had a great finish. Jon Boy Brown was a front runner, but Tim Brown punted him and he finished in the back. It was a nail biter til the end. The other races were just as exciting as well. Sad to see the season end. It's a long time to late April.
