Do any of you use the Tapatalk app on your phone to view/post to this forum? I spend quite a bit of time away from my computer but always near my phone. I was thinking of purchasing this app if it's compatible with the racing-forums.com forums.
never used it. I know we don't have a vB mobile app installed, but I also don't know when Dennis/fury was planning to change platforms, if ever (he was hoping this year, I think). We'll see if TRL or I can wave frantically or shine a light beam in his direction to get his attention.
Thanks for the response. There's some info on this app here. It looks like a good product for those of us that are mainly mobile but it will only work on BB's that are compatible.
I can load the full website on my iCrap with no problem.
I am going to check it out, I purchased a RAZR almost two weeks ago.
I love the 4G, but posting on message boards is more difficult for me.
Before I had a windows word and excel programs on the phone, and proofreading or editing was simpler or better.
It requires our end to install the component for vBulletin.I'm not having problems loading the full website. It has nothing to do with that at all. I was talking about using an app that it specifically designed for browsing for and reading/replying in forums. Its nothing more than a user interface for forum related functions. Many forums are compatible, unfortunately racing-forums is not.

But Dennis/Fury wanted th change platforms at some point. He only pops on once every 3 months or so (TRL and I operate in his place).
I'll try and snag Fury on facebook. He's a software engineer so his schedule is..busy.I hope that means that you'll still consider it at some point. Thanks for the reply.
the tappatalk forum side is free. But since we're moving in the next couple dozen days(?), it's already installed on the test site.Again, I'm not having a problem browsing the forum on my phone. I can use the stock browser and have access to everything. I was just inquiring about being able to use the Tapatalk app in conjunction with this forum. As of this morning Tapatalk lists access to over 23650 forums and I was hoping that racing-forums could be one of them. That's all I was talking about. There is a free software install that would be required on your end that works with vBulletin®. I can certainly understand if you'd rather not go that route.
By the way, they new layout looks good.![]()
