The article was a nice point of view from an individual that sits behind a typewriter and not the steering wheel of a racecar. From the perspective of his comfy cubicle, he writes this sh!t to keep his family fed. Albeit, the driver that finished third has a completely different opinion of what happened on the last lap of the 2012 Daytona 500. However the driver of the 88 car doesn't have to write fiction to get a paycheck. The writer of this crap, himself, admits that this is pure speculation but the Chevy crybabies can't let go of the fact that no Blowties could catch Matt Kenseth's hot rod Ford.
Here's another thing to think about: That hot rod Ford that won the Daytona 500 passed BOTH pre-race and post-race tech inspection, while the 48 Chevrolet sits negative in the point standings (pending appeal) for cheating (once again).
"Yes. It ran every restrictor-plate race we raced last year and went to the R&D Center. So, it's only been painted since then. It's been seen an awful lot (by NASCAR). So I need to get down to why it was wrong this time and (why) it's OK the other times." -Rick Hendrick.
Rick better hope that NASCAR doesn't fine his cheating ass, retrospectively, for the addmitted, continual infractions with the same racecar.
