I mean who isn't going to watch it, due to the 'corrupt last race' and all....

Seriously, if the current line-up stands, Bowyer-spin-gate and all, which of you will be missing from here? From the discussions, arguments, debates etc due to your sheer moral outrage over this earth shattering show of evil corruption?

Let's see who has conviction here.

Me, I'm a fan and have seen worse. I figure to be watching either way. The whole thing seems overblown to a ridiculous degree IMO.

Don't make a spit to me, Nascar created the chase, so what, I want to see Kez or Gordon catch on fire, somebody who isn't "points" racing put one or two of the primadona's in the freakin wall if they get in the way or they are blocking because they are in the "chase" woo woo. Plenty of good racing coming up.

I'm a true Gordon fan, not so much a NASCAR fan. Ill watch snippets of each race probably between studies, parties & football. Won't have the motivation to watch the whole thing if Gordon aint goin for 5

Ive been watching since 1983. All along knowing that the NASCRAP brass are a bunch of ARSECLOWNS....I enjoy the spectacle of the race as it unfolds....The France's....Helton's....Darby's....Pemberton's...of the sport can all foffndie for all im concerned.......

Thats my entire point. Things like this have always been a part of the sport. Always. Bigger and more dramatic incidents have occurred dozens, maybe hundreds of times. What really makes this different? Not one damned thing. This is an over reaction mainly fueled by a bigger bunch of more vocal malcontents than we were back in the 80's lol

sorry dude, you are the textbook definition of a fair weather fan. A true Gordon fan would be watching the 24 all season. That's ok though plenty of "true" (in their mind) Nascar fans will be watching concussion ball instead of the races.

If I'm a fair weather fan, then ill be the dopest fair weather fan there is.

Lets see....Keselowski, Gordon, Newman.....

I'll watch. Gordon is sure to do something royally dumb to Bowyer and take out other chase drivers, and then his career will be over.

Then there is that other idiot who can't accept his role in these incidents, Hammy Hemline. He won't do anything as cheap or outright stupid as Gordon will, but watching how Joey handles the little boys continuing tantrum is fascinating. Denny should keep in mind that going too far and getting walled just may end his driving career. Whatever it was between he and Joey, it has caused heated emotions to come to the surface, and that's always dangerous in a race car.

I'll watch. This just may be the craziest chase of all time.

I'm going to skip the last 10 races of the year because I perceived that a race outcome was somehow manipulated by team orders...said no reasonably prudent NASCAR fan ever

I'll be watching because I love the sport, and I'm not naive enough to think that team orders haven't already been affecting races since the inception of said teams into NASCAR

I almost stopped watching when nascar allowed payback to become a blood sport for the sake of ratings, but I couldn't stay away.

Got a bad case of the Hamlin hard on, and drama queen blues. best way to get back is to outrun the s.o.b., but the other if it happened would be good. I'm easily entertained.:)

Joey is outrunning him, and that makes Dennys rash sting even more. He would probably contemplate suicide if Joey were to win a championship before he does.

Yeah, it makes your argument flawed.

I disagree.

IMO, your argument is based upon a false premise.

There's a whole bunch of stuff about NASCAR that I don't care for but that doesn't mean I stop following the series.

Nah, he just called out all the screaming ninnies and stick n ball drama queens who will be watching concussion ball anyway. The Chase is "grey area" deal with it.

I don't get the whole "skipping-the-chase-because-my-driver-isn't-in-it" thing. People watch NASCAR for 26 races that don't have much of a championship implication - why? To see their driver try to win the race. Why does this change once the Chase begins?

Oh, I get it. If we watch more sports than Nascar then we are not true fans. Well then.

nope you don't get it, I said it is a grey area. You want to argue that it isn't? Already there are some that have said they weren't going to watch, you one of them? are you going to watch the game?

I dvr both, and then switch between the two. If miss something I can go back to my dvr recording. We are in a day and age where we don't have to choose either or, Why not both?

NASCAR in my house until the end of the season. I may peek at the occasional football game, but racing has my loyalty.
I'm sure that you don't mean to but you almost seem to imply that by being a fan of multiple sports that that person can't be loyal to NASCAR. Heck, I'm loyal to not only NASCAR but also the Steelers, Penguins & Pirates. Sports are sports and they are never meant to be viewed at a later time or later date. If I have the means to view them simultaneously then that's what I'm going to do and I'm every bit as loyal to NASCAR as anyone on here or anywhere else you'll find a NASCAR fan.

I usually hate watching live sports on my dvr. Especially if I accidentally catch the results before I watch it. The wife doesn't understand that it just isn't the same.

I wasn't planning on watching much of it because my driver isn't in it. But the way by NFL stunk it up yesterday, I'm not sure which I'll watch more of.

With all of the crap that scrolls across the bottom of the screen it can't be missed and no, I'm not going to tape anything to the bottom of my flat screen to avoid the banner.

I pay the kid down the street to watch football for me. I do complain about how nascar is mismanaged, but racing and Hockey are the only 2 that hold my attention.

I caught you peeking at nascar, so......NO CHECK FOR YOU!
Are your nuts hurting you again, you sure are stomping the sheet out of Gordon again and all of a sudden and getting no bites.
