See any good movies lately?

I don't think it is in theaters any more, but if you happen to catch This is the End I highly recommend it. I haven't laughed that hard in my life.
I've been told the same thing. Looking forward to that Netflix package :)

Dredd

This movie is surprisingly good.

I prefer to read than watch movies and when I do go it's usually something my boy wants to see, like Smurfs 2 a couple weeks back. I would like to see Mudd (just because Matthew McConaughey is HOT) and The Butler but I am sure Planes is in my very near future.

Kick Ass 2

Two thumbs way the hell down.

Had some funny lines here and there but overall this movie is a jumble mess.

I finally saw Star Trek Into Darkness. Meh. I think they tried to hard to reference the original series, and it just didn't work well. I enjoyed the 2009 reboot immensely, but this one, not so much.

Watched Life of Pi a couple nights ago, I didn't think it would be my kind of movie but it turned out to be really good.

Looks interesting.

I'm skeptical about that one. Not sure how they can carry a two hour movie with just two people floating in space. (even if it is Clooney and my crush Sandra Bullock). I just think back to the 2003 movie Open Water about two scuba divers stranded in the ocean, and how that just didn't work.

I saw a movie from 2010 the other night. It was called Café. It was really pretty strange in a lot of ways. It was really good though. It starred Jennifer Love Hewitt in her cute and sexiness, along with some really good performances by several other actors.

Pacific Rim

Pretty good movie to start of, very nice visuals but the movie was abit too long in my opinion. It definitely dragged by the middle.

I couldn't finish it. I got past halfway and still didn't care what happened so that was it for me.

I've seen This is The End 3 times in the past week. It's basically that crews masterpiece and their brand of comedy is pretty much my train of thought. I was stoked on it.

I watched it too. Good God, I laughed my ass of. (Oh, and Channing Tatum's cameo was classic)

So, they're making a spoof of The Hunger Games called The Starving Games. Does anyone really like these parody movies?

So it's raining, and while flipping through the channels I come across "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion." Missed the first half or so, so probably missed some plot points, but....umm...let's just say I', in no hurry to watch the parts I missed.:owquitit:

A very neat documentary about people around the word in one day.

Its available on Netflix.

Fargo

Surprise I hadn't seem this movie until last night. Good, solid movie with a good score to go along with it.

A Beautiful Mind

I don't know how I went so long without ever seeing this one. Great film.

Is that the movie where Specey gets gayd on?

That one won movie of the year I believe.

I watched Say Anything again last night for the first time in like 20 years or so and it was just about as awesome as I remembered it being. My oldest daughter watched it with me and she liked it.
