All-Star Race Thread

Khane got loose and almost took out Johnson. It was on camera. Not a mention of it by the announcers

DW: Takes the 24 car 25-30 laps to get to the front. 14 laps in and he's moved to second. :dunce:

Gordon has the fastest car again. Too bad its a sprint.

I think that was the year NASCAR let HMS build some trick chassis that wasn't legal for a championship NASCAR event and Gordon used it to win the Winston. I think Jurassic Park was on the car if I recall.
Ok. I remember the t rex car now. Had to shake loose some cobwebs

The Gordon car was legal until AFTER that race, teams complained and rules were made.
Ok. I didn't remember it that well myself. I thought it might have been kind of a 1994 Indy 500 situation.

They really pushed every single grey area possible, hell I wish the all star race had no rules.
They should do that. They try to make the pit crews apart of this weekend by having them involved in the qualifying run and having them come out during driver intros. Relax the rules for this race and let's see which crew chief can Smokey Yunick their car into victory lane.

TV announcer: "We knew Paul Wolfe would do something different."

No you didn't. Quit lying to us.
You should of seen the IndyCar race a few weeks ago at the Indy road course. The TV crew was convinced that two cars in front would need to stop for fuel. The ended up finishing #1 and #2.

Dammit. Gordon was going to the lead.
