Longer lines at merch haulers than in the past few years. The crowd seems the same even though seating capacity is down to about 72k (was 137k) a few years ago. The pre and post race traffic here is a dream compared to any other track I've been to.

I do too. Bigger seats and easy access is great but they still lost a ton of fans over the past ten years.
Just about every major motorsport series has. But, there are still plenty of fans left to keep the party alive.;)

Your son will forever hold that day in his heart and mind. What a great way to spend Fathers Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

We go to about every MIS Cup race so we have lots of great memories. I like to joke that since none of my friends would go to races with me I had to make one. He loves going to MIS but would like it more if the races were 80 laps. haha

It's all good and will never be forgotten. My boy's used to fall asleep at the races, just something about the hum of those engines.

Thats way cool, father and son and race cars...... does not get much better than that.

I watch most races with my 3 1/2 yo daughter on my lap... she loves the 'start your engines' and when they go really really fast (all the time). Taking her to her first race this year. Just getting her used to wearing earmuffs now.

That’s a wonderful Fathers Day, Matt. A magic time of life for a kid.

I remember going to Darlington for the first time with my Dad, rest him. Fifty one years ago.

I was in the infield and from where I was sitting all the stands looked really empty but where you were it looks like quite a good crowd. I always sit in the infield.. Im thinking maybe in August I should sit in the stands just to be up there once. Awesome pics!

I took Aiden to watch a practice session when he was 3. He liked it but it was really hot that day.

These pics are from when he was 4:
