I have about 200 insulators but most of'em are commons. I've given my best ones to family members to display in their homes. That's a really nice upper end collection. Of course I would have to see them up close but it appears that you have some very rare ones. That's a perfect way to display them with the sunlight backdrop.

My dad worked for Southwestern Bell for 40+ years. He started collecting back in the early 80s. I got started collecting and got my
stepfather to collect, also. Between the 2, I inherited a great collection.

Some more

I have one from France, one from Romania, one from Canada, and one from Mexico(it was smuggled over the border by a friend--- LOL) And one from Australia -- almost forgot. :D
A couple of those on the top are called "Mickey Mouse" for obvious reasons.

I see some rare Hemingray, Corning Pyrex, H.G. Co. and a few that I believe are impossible to get at any price. A damn fine collection.

I don't have a picture, but I have a wood insulator --- it has scorch marks on it because it survived the San Francisco earthquake and fire in 1906.
Holy Moly. That's one of the rarest of the rare. Along with some of the 1850s to 1920s telegraph, telephone and power ones.

Mine looks like the one on the left. It has a inner skirt --- mainly used on the trolley lines.
I've never seen one in person but I do know that there are a few out there. I've never seen one up for sale though. That was a good find.

Thinking about all those brown and clear insulators that fell victim to my .22 when the RR tracks were abandoned and the poles remained.

Caveat: Posted for the benefit of Johali.

This is not current having been taken last September from our breakfast room looking into our rear yard. The berm is the property line and the rest is a power line right of way. We have seen fifteen deer at one time in our rear yard and are amazed as we watch the fawn grow to become these randy bucks. We are surrounded by the city of Raleigh but have our own little enclave where we enjoy mature at her best.

That's super cool @Whizzer I'd have a hard time shooting one from my back yard. Especially from the wife. :D

We have fairly strict rules altho I don't think this is confidential info
I used to take pictures when I unloaded trucks all the time because of crazy stuff I'd see

We get quite a variety of stuff coming thru work......much like trucking ...all sorts of freight but we can get very large consignments. Makes you wonder how the plane gets off the ground sometimes!
