This is the rear overhang. Two 2x4 form an L. Finally figured out what to cut the lower end to as for angle. Cut to 43 inch length on long side then make 1/2 ish inch cut at 90 degrees to the 22.5 degree...anybody else confused? Accidentally found it when putting one of them in vise. It slid...

Almost ready for shingles. One board trim to go to finish end of drip edge, then build the rear overhang.
