6.5 - a bad weekend for NASCAR in general.
Flip and concussion on Saturday, and then cars driving backwards down pit road on Sunday because the cars can't handle a flat tire. Disappointing.
7 - had a lot of promise early on, but I can't give a race with that much carnage anything higher. I predict Chastain is going to have a few DNFs in the upcoming races..
7.5 - the 6 car rolling around the last few laps and no caution being thrown was hilarious. Any other driver leading and it would've been an immediate yellow. NASCAR will justify it though by saying "we threw it too early at Texas, so we thought we needed to let it play out this time!"
9.5. Usually I give tracks that are hard to pass a 6 or less, but for whatever reason, this race was exciting. Hope they keep coming back.
Added .5 to my score because of Denny screwing with Ross. That stuff was hilarious :XXROFL:
9 - can't quite give it a 10 because of all the carnage. Classic race where all the young guns crash themselves out and the seasoned veterans rise to the top. Exciting race overall.
Still can't believe the 5 came back from all that though lol
This is how NASCAR operates. Make a major mistake, and instead of owning up to it, double down on it.
It's been that way since as long as I can remember. The people in the tower have massive egos and little brains to match. That's never a good combo.
2 - what a joke. No way they should've let Blaney ride around with a window net like that from a safety perspective. Either don't throw a BS yellow or let him fix it and keep his position. Absolutely ridiculous but totally expected from the 70 IQ guys running NASCAR.
