But those aren't stock car racing series. Those are all very different and as we have seen time and again, cross over drivers don't do particularly well so why would full teams have any better luck crossing over?

I don't agree with Denni on this one. If Nascar gives out 20mil per team, a winning car will then cost 30mil. That's just how competition works. That's why stick and ball sports have salary caps. Exactly. The racing was fun and interesting/entertaining. All things Nascar currently lacks, which is why that idiot Phelps saw it as competition and wanting to "knife" it instead of fixing the issues with his own product!

Been a long time since I've posted here but had to comment on Phelps being a total out of touch maroon! If he isn't fired by the end of the week, Nascar has big problems heading it's way! Talk about being totally incompetant! Any leader of anything that calls their employees or teammates...

Did anyone actually do a full tally of cars that were destroyed? I was thinking the total cost was over $10 mil based on Mike Waltrips comment of 250k per car. I'm sure xfinity and trucks are less, so maybe $175k and $100k for the xfinity and trucks. I'll see if I can dig this up later.

LOL. So much for any strategy at all this coming year. The leaders will jump to the lead and stay in the lead. No need to pit early because everyone basically has to pit at the same time now to make it to the end. And since Aero is so important I expect a lot of guys dominating the races this...

I love those Lambo cars. They look pretty cool. Even if you aren't a huge Lambo fan, its great to see something different and more manufacturers out there.
