If Kurt Busch doesn't win today, it will mark the 13th time a driver got their only win of the season in the Daytona 500. The others were Marvin Panch (1961), Tiny Lund (1963), Mario Andretti (1967), Benny Parsons (1975), Bobby Allison (1988), Dale Jarrett (1993), Sterling Marlin (1994), Dale Earnhardt (1998), Michael Waltrip (2001), Kevin Harvick (2007), Ryan Newman (2008), and Trevor Bayne (2011).

Apparently Truex & Busch’s cars have not passed pre race tech yet

Cmon Bad Brad!

If he wins, he's solidifies himself as one the greats IMHO. Honestly, Brad does not even need another championship to show how great he is after basically out driving Jimmie for that 2012 trophy.

Our household is unanimously behind Truex. By far, the best team this season regardless of today’s outcome. A single race should never determine a season’s champion in NASCAR..... period.
He definitely deserves it.. I just can't help but go for Brad.. but anyone other than Kyle is good enough for me lol

Truex won the regular season and disrespected it like a little whiny baby. He don't deserve the championship. Harvick or Kezelowski here, both have had more to overcome to get there.

In the voice of Bill Webber, we looked that up so you didnt have to.

Yup. Its about time we get another multi time champ, and I think Brad K is the one to do it.

Its probably gonna be the 18 though. Fastest in qualifying so, yeah

Race will be dominated by 18 and 78. Hoping the fords can keep it competitive but those two cars took off in practice
