It was so hard for me to stick with my pick instead of changing to Van Gisbergen. If I did that, I’d have to make some adjustments to my future picks, and honestly, I was feeling too lazy for that. 😂

I'll never understand why so many of you pick guys like Kobayashi. 36 races 36 charter cars. Far more likely to get better finishes.

I mean, if he can get a top 25, that's probably better than another "C" driver would get you, unless you picked them on their good day. Just because you're chartered doesn't mean your good.

Working out swimmingly

Burns up a c driver and ability to use a better driver later in the season when you need it. Didn’t work this week but live to fight another day

P6… another solid day for my pick ‘em season

Son of a…..

Just read that Haley was DQ’d! I was supposed to get the “wiping up the rear” award! That was my award and I was proud of it!! Oh well…there’s always next weekend. 😂

Some people don't understand logical questions and arguments.

Would you have asked the same question to those who picked SVG before his Chicago start last year?

Kobayashi is an experienced road racer driving top equipment, and was showing some good speed in practice. I thought after a rough debut at COTA last year, maybe he had burned through his bad luck and was due for a top-20 finish. Unfortunately it didn't work out, but there was some sound logic that went into the decision.

The logic thing wasn't directed at the people who picked them but more a certain person who wanted to be insulting towards me, which is a continuing pattern of his.

Actually, I was wrong, I thought he was in a 23XI car again this year. Soooo never mind lol
He was in a 23XI car. His pace was solid throughout the race but two spins hurt a lot.

In other words I have solidified my last place in the standings. I'm going to soldier on though and not drop out like others have.

It was meant as a joke, I apologize that it didn't come across that way.
The "continuing pattern" comment has me baffled though, gotta admit. Care to share with me where this 'continues' to happen? Not saying I haven't, as I've been on a ton of pain meds the last few weeks following a motorcycle accident and quite loopy, but at first glance, don't see any other posts I've made that could've offended you.

There’s beef in Molo’s harmlessly fun Pick ‘Em Game/Threads?! The one place you would never expect a beef to occur here, except maybe if there’s a championship fight going on

Your joke was fine, not directed at you.

Harrison at this point is on the D driver list for this game or as I like to call, avoid at all costs.
I was gonna say that’s why I gave him saved for a plate race as a throwaway driver, but after checking my picks, that’s not the case. No idea what I was thinking picking him anywhere else, but oh well!

oh not knocking ya, I might have to use him at some point this season but I'm hoping not. At this point 70 something year old Morgan Shepard would be a better pick than young Burton.

You were totally knocking on me! Wanna fight about it? :bigfight:

Nah, but that’s the thing with this game. We’re all gonna have to use drivers who aren’t good. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a top 20 out of them. Or if you’re unlucky, like the guy typing this…they’ll get you a 30+ place finish.

I don't know that it will work out like that again, but I believe that taking a chance on the one-off ringers is what won this contest for me a few years ago.

Actually, I was half expecting to get some gruff for waiting so long after the Circuit of the Americas race to post the game's results.

Hold your horses, boys, they're coming right up.
