Wow man did MTJ throw a fit like a toddler there....

He has a propensity to be whiny, but I completely get why he’d rage quit there. He got robbed pretty much twice after dominating most of the night. Guys put too much into this sport to be able to shrug off close losses like it’s whatever.

That’s fine. I’m not gonna argue about it, it happens.
Agreed. Not saying they didn’t blow the call looking at it there on the replays, blown calls are apart of sports. I just think imo watching from comfy couch Truex should have been more door to door with Hamlin if he saw him inching ahead of him coming to the re start line

Hamlin jumped Too bad the commentators are just going to kiss nascar’s ass and not speak the truth

With Wrestlemania next week, let's break it down in storyline terms.
Denny is the heel. People hate him. They can push that storyline and allow a few judgement calls, etc to build him up and make people dislike him more.

As far as the Wreslemania analogy, that would be Phoenix in the fall. The bad guy (heel) often loses in that case to, for example, a new up and coming star etc. People will want Denny to lose then, and naturally, being the championship race, Denny will lose. The new star will be Byron.

Allowing thing like that restart can help build the drama without necessarily manufacturing it.

Yeah, Truex definitely should’ve also been more alert for sure

They shouldn't have thrown the caution flag on Larson spinning out to begin with, especially as it was half a lap from the white flag and an automatic finish.

But, hey, why let a good excuse to manipulate the outcome of a race go to waste.

The Kyle Busch caution showed they had a hand on the button at all times

Hamlin definitely went before the line. Truex didn't catch it with the throttle. Larson shouldn't have een a caution, he was all by his lonesome. But I think they threw it prematue expecting him to cream pit wall.
